I have gotten to know Ashley Pickett online as she moderates several online support groups for attachment-based infant sleep and breastfeeding, and had the pleasure of meeting her at a conference recently. I am impressed with the amount of time she gives her community through free drop-ins. She is deeply committed to relationship-based infant sleep strategies (no crying it out), and helping parents understand the biological basis for infant sleep (or lack there-of!). Ashley also strikes me as being particularly aware of the medical and health issues that can affect sleep -something that can easily get missed when the focus is on "getting your baby to sleep more".

After hiring and working with over 5 lactation professionals we discovered that everyone had missed our tongue tie. We sought out the International Breastfeeding Clinic as our final attempt to correct our latch and milk supply issues. Ashley was our Lactation Consultant and she immediately corrected our latch after so many found no fault. Our journey immediately improved. I was so thrilled with Ashley that I sought her out independently for a phone consultation on transitioning my baby back to breast after she developed a flow preference for the lactation aid we were using. Her instruction helped save our breastfeeding relationship. For that I am forever greatful for her wisdom and expertise!
