I don’t need to tell you that small businesses are going to need our help now and in the coming month as we come out of #socialdistancing and #quaranting, so we’ve compiled a list of small businesses that could use your support if and when you need something. Your Downtown Doulas have added an online prenatal class and a preparing your partner to be your doula class.  Given the current situation, you are no longer able to have more than one person in the hospital room during labour. Your Downtown Doulas are offer League of Moms members 40% off their course with code SUPPORT40. 

Tara Bruley is a doula offering pregnancy, labour & birth support. All her services have switched to virtual support and can be offered pay-what-you-can/pro bono help to those pregnant and looking to discuss a birth plan/answer questions regarding their options during birth and how to make informed decisions in the birth space.

Planning to potty train during this extended home time? If you need a little bit of extra help, you can schedule 30 min with Rosalee Lahaie Hera, a Certified Potty Training Consultant for a Potty training consult for only $19.

Make Lemonade a co-working space is rallying the troops with daily virtual coworking.

There are a ton of freelancers currently offering PWYC services in marketing, SEO, graphic design, blogging, Pinterest, social media, video editing and so much more! Kelsey Blake, a filmmaker and photographer, recently opened a space on Geary st. which as you can imagine is the least ideal time! However, she is innovating and offering up the space for anyone to use for a livestream workshop, virtual Art show, let your kids run around, workout, whatever you want! She is offering a PWYC rate or stuff for her new space such coffee maker, furniture etc.

Mamas & Co is taking their business Bootcamp virtually and all ticket sales are going towards their female entrepreneurial fund!

For your Mental Health

Allison Villa, Relationship Therapist has always offered virtual services and will continue to support all those who need help during this extra difficult time.

Laurie Solmon, Child & Family Therapist and Registered Social Worker is offering secure virtual services to support kids and families.

The Well Parents Centre have Clinical and Health Psychologists offering virtual prenatal and postpartum psychological services for mothers and fathers.

For your Body

Workout with Jess is offering a variety of programs from a personalized workout program at a reduced rate of $80/month to her new 6 Month Progressive Home Workout Program which you can try free for 7 days, otherwise is only $30 monthly or $150 for 6 months. Jess is also hosting free 30min Instagram workouts that are baby and kid-friendly on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:30am on Instagram

City Dance Corps is streaming over 35 live dance classes across the week. $49 for unlimited classes plus two free in-studio classes when their studio opens or $6/class. Classes are streamed through zoom. Check out their website for more details or their Instagram for times.
